Rurouni Kenshin OVA - Kenshin (18)
What a fabulous moment this is. In brilliant contrast to the dark, secretive Kenshin we come to know through his life as the Battousai, and to the uncertain, silly Ruroni trying not to revert to his hitokiri self, this Kenshin has found his center. He has "no hesitation," as he prepares to fight Enishi for Kaoru. I worked on this cel for what seems like years, but was really only a few months, between class assignments. It's not quite as perfect as I would have liked, but with the non-matching production background to set it off, I think it works well.
